I couldn't put this one down! I loved this story of politics, love, old loves, forgotten friendships and a determined young woman’s quest to the top. It also touches on many relevant topics that women must face in positions of power. Cleo doesn’t realize until is almost too late, the sacrifices she’s made to herself and the pressures she faces compared to men. I was not expecting the book to turn into a wonderful portrayal of the fight women still have in the political world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
